How long did it take you to potty train your puppy (german shepherd?)?
Was it the toughest part of the training ?
I agree pretty much with everything sundrop posted with one exception (which is sort-of clarified at the end of sundrops post)
A young pup can not hold it for so long. About an hour per month of age during the day is to be expected. Picking up food at night is a good way to extend a pups control to overnight.
The toughest part of training is always training the human
