What type of bones/edible chews are safe for toy dogs?
I heard that you shouldn’t give dogs rawhide (because it can splinter and get caught in thier throats), but I would like to give my dogs something they can chew on that is edible. What is safe for them, like vet recomended?
I have a Pomeranian and she loves bones, but everything was too big or too hard for her to chew safely. So I went to Petsmart and found Dentley’s chicken basted chewflips. They are rawhides, but they are small and they don’t splinter. She loves them and they are smaller so they don’t cause stomach upset. The package does say Veterinarian approved.
