Say Yes Dog Training

say yes dog training
How many words should a 15 month old be able to say?

Roughly? I know all children are different but i am wondering how many is average…my daughter says shoes, ball, no, yes, bath, bird, dog, tata, mummy, daddy, toot toot (for train), more, she understand many many more but these are all she says sometimes she will say a word for days on end then i never hear it again and some days she barely talks at all is this all normal?????

Totally normal. I’m so paranoid about speech as well, even though I know that normal is a very wide range. Its just harder for me since my daughter when she was my son’s age (16 mos) said so much. Seriously, her verbal skills were and still are crazy for her age (no idea where she gets it from). My son says, mama, dada, lila (daughter’s name), dave (our dog), map, nana, my sisters nickname that the kids call her (don’t know how that concoction is spelled), kitty. He may have one or two more words, but thats it. I asked the doc at the last well baby check up, he had about 5 or so words then and the doctor said that is fine, in fact 2 (maybe more/less) than what is considered normal. Since your beautiful baby girl understands what is being said or asked of her, i think that outweighs everything else. The comprehension I think is most important. I’m sure she’s perfect.
