Do training classes for puppies really work?
I have been wanting to train my Aussie Retriever puppy, Miley and thought the classes our local PetSmart offers would do the trick. I’m hesitant to spend the $110 if its not going to be worth it though. Shes very bright, loves to learn, but I could use a few tips on how to get her to listen effectively to the training exercise. I have minimal time to watch videos on this so I figured a scheduled class would be the best idea.

Absolutely! As a puppy class trainer for ten years, I can’t tell you how many puppies I have seen “straighten up” in class.
Of course, quality of the class counts, as does your commitment and time spent training at home. The dogs who show the least improvement in class are the ones whose owners did very little training except when actually in class or who weren’t consistent.
$110 is reasonable for a six- to eight-week training class. Enroll – I doubt that you will regret it.
