How much is a quality pet trainer?
I want to do it, Price IS and ISN’T an issue. I want what is best for my pet and I am willing to pay whatever I can, I just have to be able to afford it. I am not rich but I am not poor. but I want quality training for my dog. Petsmart isn’t cutting it.
How much did you pay? I know every state is different.

I used Bark Buster. They’re international, and if you live in a city, you should be able to find them easily.
It was a couple of years ago, but I paid $500, and it was WORTH EVERY PENNY.
They didn’t train the dog. They trained me. They basically taught me how to think like a dog, so I could be the alpha to my dog. It took about five weeks of being consistent in things like not letting her on the bed or the couch (if they’re equal to your eyes, they’re equal to you in their eyes), always going through doorways first (with wild dogs, the alpha always enters and leaves the den first), stuff like that.
They also taught me about passive dominance, which is HUGE, and they helped me see some ways I was giving my dog cues I didn’t know about.
The basic stuff—sit, stay, etc.—was easy. They really do want you to be in charge. They feel safer that way. They just need you to show that you’re a good alpha.
