(((Teaching a dog to attack on command)))?
Im getting a GSD puppy female very soon and I want to be able to do this for protection only.
I dont really want the dog to ATTACK!! I just want it to threaten show its teeth and growl on my command??
I live in Australia so if I was to hire a personal dog trainer would he teach me to do this??

So, you teach this dog to growl and bark, which is mostly done by putting the dog in defense, a drive no dog is comfortable in, and then what? Supposedly the “bad guy” is not buying it, supposedly the bad guy is on crack and could care less about your barking dog?
No, that is a stupid idea. The dog is either formally protection trained or he is not. That is like depending your life on an unloaded gun, not smart!!!
When your dog becomes old enough have her evaluated for the proper temperament and drives for the work and if she does have it, then have her fully trained as a protection dog.
Oh, dogs do not naturally protect anyone as someone else told you on here, that is a myth!! Hope I helped!!
