What should I charge for housesitting and caring for lab dog in downtown Chicago for one week?
I house sat two german shepherds and a boston terrier dog and for a weekend she’d usually give me 100-125 dollars for 4 days. She wanted me to let them out during the days, feed them of course, and sleep at her house. She didn’t care what I ate or drank. She was pretty easy to sit for. Since it’s one dog and I live in Missouri in a smaller town where boarding a dog is probably cheaper, I would say $30 a day. She gave me about $30 a day and that was for three dogs. But my job was also easy. I guess it depends if you live in an apartment where they have to take them outside. I just opened teh back door and let them go. Sometimes I’d play fetch with them and what not.
