Does anyone ever got problems getting stuffs for your dog? Especially caused by parents?
I came from a family that don’t really like animals. All they want is a dog to guard the house. I’m the only animal lover in the family. I care for the pets. Now we got a dog. I did most of the work like feeding, playing, bathing, going out for a walk and choosing equipments. I even got a book as a guide training my dog. The problem is; my parents always have the reluctance to buy stuffs for my dog like a squeaky ball for playing fetch for my dog or a new collar
You might ask what toys people have made for their dogs. It would help if we knew the age and breed of your dog. I take an empty water bottle and put some pebbles in it and let my puppy play with that. She can roll the bottle all over and the pebbles make big noise and she loves that. When she gets bigger, I take it away from her or she will eat the cap off of the bottle. Some dogs don’t like squeaky toys because they sound like a puppy dying. Maybe you can play fetch with a stick or something. We play hide and seek with our dogs. Our dog, Andy, has bad vision, so he can’t catch a ball, he can catch some soft toys, but he doesn’t enjoy playing catch, so we play hide and seek. We hide in the house, and he finds us, and then we chase him through the house, and hide again, and he finds us again, and we chase him again. It probably sounds like a silly game, but he likes it. So use your imagination to find games and way you can play with your dog without spending a lot of money. Some new collars are expensive. I saw one the other day for 40.00, ouch. We didn’t buy it though. I guess you will just have to ask them to buy the new collar, it doesn’t have to be an expensive one. Good luck.
