How old do you have to be to breed dogs and sell the puppies?
Im 17 years old and im a female, ill be 18 in 3 months (september 11th of this year) I would like to know the age of breeding yorkshire terrier dogs in New York City, NY, USA. Is it legal to breed at 17 so i can sell the puppies?

Your yorkie must be 2 years old. Unless you want to be an unethical backyard breeder, it also must have full AKC registration, have been successfully shown in conformation shows, have had appropriate OFA, BAER and CERF testing, and you must be willing to pay for the stud services of a male with the same qualities.
