Is it a wise idea to ever let a dog drink out of the toilette?
I have seen people do this saying they make sure it is a fresh flush, and the dog gets cold water. I still worry about a dogs health when I hear about this.
don’t. let your dog drink from his own bowl. a good way to prevent your dog from using the toilet is to use a spray bottle or squirt gun on him/her when he does it. the mild, surprising squirt will serve as a negative reinforcement so that your dog doesn’t repeat the behavior. introduce the bowl concept to your dog with water and ice cubes.
