Leash training my dog to heal…advice please!?
I’ve started training my puppy (7 months old) to walk beside me (got tired of her pulling on the leash). I initially started the “walk in a different direction everytime she tries pulling or going away from me” thing and in one hour she improved (yay). I didn’t use treats cause she’s a little dog and i’d have to bend over everytime i wanted to reward her for staying beside me…
Just wondering if there’s any other tricks out there to make this easier??

anwer to your question. i have a terrier and he went to obidience class…i had to teach heel with him….get a wooden spoon and on the end of it place peanut butter or something that he loves……that will be his reward……that way you dont have to completely bend over while teaching heel…it worekd for me or either take some peanut butter and put a treat on it each time…that work stoo……
