Does your dog’s behaviour become like you overtime?
I heard that a dog’s look will look like the owner’s overtime, is that true? Will my dog behave like the owner overtime? How do i train my puppy to do tricks, she can only shake hand and sit….(5months old puppy) any tips on teaching her to do some nice tricks?
Your dog will behave in the ways that you allow her to.
To teach her tricks, you need about 10-15 minutes a day and lots of treats.
Start with something she knows. Tell her to sit.
Good girl! *treat*
Then start simple. Tell her to lie down, and gently put a little bit of pressure on her back so that she gets the message and when she lies down, give her a treat.
Repeat. She will soon realise that “Down” (or whatever word you use) means that you want her to lie down.
Do this for 10 minutes every day for a week before you move on to the next trick.
I’d recommend borrowing a book from the library about dog training to learn how to teach her other tricks.
