Which of these is best to run a dog through an Agility course in?
-Nylon flat collar
-Nylon harness
-Prong collar
-Chain/choke collar
*The dog will be on a leash while running the course, and the leash will be held on to through most of the course.
I’m not in a competition.
A well-fitting nylon flat collar would do the job just fine. While a prong collar might increase response on turns and speed changes because of the way pressure is applied, it is not one I would recommend using for agility. Especially if you drop the leash, since it could get caught on something and that would be a mess.
