My 9 wk old dachsie puppy is being house trained but still has accidents. What should I do?
Lulu, my dachshund puppy is being house trained but we don't know what. to do when she has an accident. when we don't see her we don't do anything but what if we do? Thanks in advance.
Try to interrupt her if you catch her in the act. A loud sound or a "ah!". should stop her in her tracks so she doesnt empty her bladder on the floor. Try not to frighten her, but just show her that the behavior is unwanted and stop her. If. you can, right away usher her to the place where you want her to go. She may not finish there, but she'll start to catch on. Are you crate training? Try not to let her roam the house where you. cant see her so the accidents won't be normal for her.
