How do you calm down a crazy boxer dog?
Hi! Well we have a female boxer dog and shes a year old this november, we have tryed training her but she does what she wants, runs away when she gets the chance and acts like a dog gone mad sometimes.lol. Shes booked in for an operation (no pups for her) on tuesday, will that calm her down? Plus im due to have a baby on thursday, so i need all the help i can get. Thank u 
I agree with the exercise and wear ‘em out advice! However, you might want to check you aren’t feeding her too much protein which can gee them up big time. As she’s coming up to one, she can afford to drop to say a max of 20% protein now. It might help.
Spaying should help, but it usually doesn’t alter the temperament of a b itch quite as much as it does with the boys. Basically she needs to grow up!! This is a go-go breed and you might well be looking at her being two before she starts to slow down, a bit! But enjoy her while she’s young. They quickly reach middle and old age you know.
The breeder of your girl might have some useful advice for you, based on what’s normal for the breed?
